The Pre-Primary section of our school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event aimed to instill love for our country, respect for national symbols, and unity among our little learners.
The programme began with a warm welcome to our administrators, teachers and students, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. As the tricolour unfurled, all present stood in respect for the National Anthem and the melodious Zanda Geet sung by the children.
Our tiny tots then presented a graceful Yoga performance, spreading the message of health and harmony. This was followed by an action song, which filled the atmosphere with joy and energy. Young students confidently delivered patriotic speeches that showcased their budding communication skills.
The celebration continued with a mass drill displaying coordination and discipline. Children recited patriotic poems (Kavita) with expression and pride. Fun sitting exercises added a lively twist to the event. Another group of students delivered Hindi speeches, reflecting the importance of freedom and unity.
A special highlight was the Soldier Song, where children represented the Army, Navy, and Air Force, paying tribute to the guardians of our nation. The grand finale, “Hamara Tiranga Hamari Shaan”, was a vibrant performance that captured the beauty and pride of our tricolour.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, appreciating the efforts of students, teachers
and support staff for making the celebration a success. The day left everyone with a sense of pride, unity and love for the nation.
