Celebration in our school epitomizes the cultural and social aspirations of the people in India. These celebrations are instrumental in diluting the humdrum of everyday life by adding their special touch to it.
74th Republic Day Celebration
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023. The Trustee Shri Jugal Kishore Ruia graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Deep Nayak, Ex-Student of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan was invited as the Guest of Honour.
The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Shri Jugal Kishore Ruia and the Principal, teachers, school staff and students from different grades and classes joined together in the singing of the National Anthem and Jhunda Geet.
The Principal and the Guest of Honour addressed the students narrating to them the history of Republic day, explaining the significance and the sacrifice of the great men who gave away their lives for the cause of the nation. Students presented Patriotic Song, Yoga, Mass Drill, Lezim, Dumbel etc. The whole campus come alive with the spirit of patriotism.

Christmas Celebration 2022
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm.
Principal Mrs. Sharmila Das wished the children 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year'.
The entire school was filled with positive Vibes of Christmas Spirit. Students and Teachers decorated the Display Boards with Christmas theme. Christmas Tree was decorated with bells, stars and lights. Students vocalised mellifluous Christmas Carols. Students and Teachers dressed as Santa Claus, reverberated with the melody of Christmas Carols 'Jingle Bell..., Wish you a merry Christmas...' highlighting the spirit of Christmas and delivering the message of happiness and harmony all around.

Children’s Day Celebration 2022
"Childhood is a blessing and the most fun filled phase of life"
To mark such an occasion, Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2022.
Teacher’s took this unique opportunity to make the Children feel how special and loved they are! The Teachers beautifully decorated the Classrooms, Corridors, Stage... etc.
To delight, entertain and regale the students, the Teachers enthusiastically presented a plethora of performances like Songs, Dances, Mushairas, Humorous Skit - 'Kyu Banu Mai Karorpati', Puppet Show, etc.
The Celebration began with the Principal, Mrs. Sharmila Das greeting the children on their special day, a day to celebrate the bond between teachers and students. She recited a beautiful poetry 'Don't Quit' to motivate the Students.
This was followed by the Vice Principal Mrs. Shailja Singh giving a brief insight of the history of Children’s Day Celebration. The skit - Kyu Banu Mai Karorpati' with all its humour and witty dialogues received a lot appreciations from the students. The soulful renditions of songs by the teachers, enthralled the students. The students appreciated the scintillating dance performances by the teachers. The Puppet Show was very captivating and inspiring.
The Students profusely thanked the Teachers for making Children's Day so special. The heartfelt appreciation by the students are a testimony to the grand success of the Children's Day Celebration 2022.

Diwali Celebration 2022
Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India.
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Diwali with great festivity and joy. The Principal Mrs. Sharmila Das conveyed Diwali greetings to the students and explained the importance of Diwali - the festival spiritually signifies the victory of Light over Darkness, Knowledge over Ignorance, Good over Evil, and Hope over Despair.
The Principal spoke about the different legends behind the festival of Diwali. She
encouraged the students to celebrate 'Eco-Friendly and Green Diwali'. The Students sang melodious Diwali Songs.
The Principal, Teachers and Students lit Earthen Diyas and decorated the School with Handmade Lanterns, Flowers and beautiful Paper Crafts. Students made beautiful Rangolis.
An Exhibition Cum Sale of Handicrafts by Students of Std. I to XII which comprised of Diyas, Torans, Ready Rangolis, Bouquets, Pooja thalis, T-light Stands, Candle Stands,... etc, was held in the School premises on the Eve of Diwali. The Exhibition was appreciated and supported enormously by all Parents.
The Exhibition was a 'Fund Raiser' Campaign aiming to support the underprivileged people of villages by conducting Free Eye Check-Up Camps followed by Free Eye Treatment in collaboration with Sankara Eye Hospital, Anand and Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmada Nagri.

Navratri Celebration
Navratri festival is a nine days celebration where each day Goddess Durga is worshipped in nine different forms also each day is concluded by specific colors.
Students of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan and the teachers participated in the Celebration with great devotion and fidelity. All the students and teachers were dressed in ethnic Garba attire and traditional jewelry and were groomed exquisitely.
The celebration began by offering prayers to Goddess Durga, followed by Aarti sung together by all students and teachers.
Students of all age groups were dressed elegantly in lehengas and kurta-pyjamas and all performed Garba on the melodies sung by their teachers.
The celebration ended with distribution of snacks and Jalebies to the students.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration
Students of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan and their teachers celebrated the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi - the 'International Day For Nonviolence' on Gandhi Jayanti.
A Prayer Sabha was organized where students wore white outfits and sang Raghupati Raghav ..., Vaishnav Jan to tene kahiye .... and other Bhajans of Gandhiji.
Students dressed up as Gandhiji and weaving on Charka, were appreciated by one and all.
An Audio Visual Interactive Session was conducted so that the students can articulate Gandhi’s ideology and contributions towards India's struggle for freedom.
The students of the school paid a creative homage to Gandhi ji by making thoughtful Posters with Slogans stating Gandhiji's principles.
Students and teachers also paid homage to Lal Bahadur Shashtri, the 2nd Prime Minister of India.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration 2022
The Students and Staff of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 1st September' 2022 to mark the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom and creativity. It is believed that the Elephant Headed God is the destroyer of obstacles and brings good luck and prosperity in our lives.
The sole purpose of the celebration was to let the students stay rooted with Indian culture and to enable them to understand the significance of this festival.
Lord Ganesha was offered prayers and invocations, followed by Aartis sung by students with great devotion and passion. Prasad in the form of Laddoos were distributed among the Students and teachers. The arrival of Lord Ganesha was welcomed by the tunes of "Ganpati Bappa Maurya"

Janmashtami Celebration 2022
The students of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Janmashtami on 18th August 2022 with great enthusiasm and zeal. The students and teachers performed a Puja and sang Aarti to seek blessings from Lord Krishna.
The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’ (pot of butter & curd) by making Human Pyramids to grace this occasion. Janmashtami Celebration brought everyone together and signified faith and unity.

75th Independence Day Celebrations
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan proudly celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15 th August’ 2022 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. A beautiful programme was put together by the students on this auspicious occasion.
The Chief Guest Shri Jugal Kishore Ruia, Trustee Sanskar Bharti Trust
hoisted the National Flag in the presence of a gleeful gathering. All saluted the National Flag and sang National Anthem and Jhunda Geet together.
Later students presented patriotic songs, Nukkad Natak, Mass Drill with different Props like Lezim, Dumbel, Wand, Mugdal, etc.
The Principal Mrs. Sharmila Das addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country.
The Chief Guest addressed the students and awakened everyone's feelings toward the motherland.
Later the Chief Guest felicitated the Second District Topper of Std XII Shatabdi Behera.
The Chief Guest, the Principal, along with other dignitaries, teachers and students waved the Tricolor on the tune of 'Har ghar tiranga...' to express their love and respect for the motherland and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. There was a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone’s heart.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration
India’s festivals reflect the country’s rich cultural abundance. Breaking the humdrum of daily routine,
these festivals bring with them a wave of excitement, happiness and hope.
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 10th August 2022 to make students understand the true essence of this festival and the sacred relation of brothers and sisters.
Teachers and Students through their speech, message and recitation beautifully explained
the significance of this tradition which symbolizes 'Raksha' - which means protection and 'Bandhan' - which means bond. Thus 'Raksha Bandhan' is a bond of protection given by a brother to his sister.
Students celebrated Raksha Bandhan traditionally by applying Tika, trying Rakhis and exchanging Chocolates.

International Yoga Day Celebration
International Yoga Day 2022 (Theme - Yoga For Humanity) was celebrated on 21st June at Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan. All the students and teachers performed various Asanas which staged beautiful synchronization of physical, mental and spiritual practice. The Asanas performed were Sukshm Vyayam, Yoga Mudra, Meditation, Pancham Kriya, Surya Namaskar, Chandra Namaskar, etc.
1400 Students from Std. I to XII participated in the Yoga Celebration in unison for better health and wellness.

73rd Republic Day Celebration
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated the '73rd Republic Day - Amrit Ka Mahotsav' with great patriotic fervor and zeal. The Administrator Mrs. Nikki H Mehta unfurled the National Flag and all the attendees paid their tribute to the Tricolor by singing National Anthem and Jhunda Geet.
The Republic Day function was attended by the Principal, Teachers, Senior Secondary Students and other School Staff in adherence with the Covid protocols. The Senior Secondary Students presented their views on their academic journey during the pandemic. The Teachers recited self composed poetic Compositions on this occasion.
The Primary and Secondary Students celebrated the 73rd Republic Day very lively on the Virtual Platform by participating in an array of Activities depicting various themes related to Republic Day like Drawing and Craft, Quiz on Culture and Heritage of India, Patriotic singing, etc. to infuse the spirit of unity and patriotism.

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION 2021
Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with reverence and devotion and sought the blessings of 'The Lord Vighnaharta' for good health and prosperity.
It is believed that devotees who pray Lord Ganesha are able to fulfil their wishes and desires and it leads them on the path of knowledge and wisdom.
Lord Ganesha's idol was installed and decorated with flowers, garlands and lights.
Aarti was performed every day and sweets were offered as Prasad.

Teacher's Day Celebration - 5th September 2021
India celebrates Teacher’s Day on September 5 to commemorate the birth of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
We believe that teachers are the bedrock upon which any quality education is built.
The Students of Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan paid tribute to their teachers by having a small celebration offline as well as online. Students at school sang songs, recited poems and honoured their teachers with words of appreciation and gratitude.
Students online sent virtual wishes and greetings to tell their teachers that they loved and cherished them.
Thus it turned out to be a beautiful day spent for students as well as teachers.

Yoga for well-being
The International Yoga Day aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.
UNICEF says kids can practice many yoga poses without any risk and get the same benefits that adults do. These benefits include increased flexibility and fitness, mindfulness and relaxation.
We at Shrimati Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan had an online celebration of the 7th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2021. Students of all the classes right from I to XII performed online Yogasanas with their Teachers and the entire school came together through an online mode.
Recognizing this important role of Yoga, we at SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan have made Yoga session mandatory for every class even during online mode of education. This is an endeavour to promote the holistic health of every student as well as teachers.

Guru Purnima Celebration
Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to all our Spiritual as well as Academic Mentors who plays a vital role in our journey of learning and enlightens our paths and provides us knowledge.
The Students and Teachers of SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan virtually celebrated the auspicious festival of Guru Purnima on 24th July with great devotion. Students offered a special prayer dedicated to Guru. The lines of the prayer were:
‘ Koi kaam duniya mein shuru hi na hota
Agar is jahan mein koi guru hi na hota…..’
The Students sought blessings by offering their greetings to their teachers. It was followed by the Teacher's short narration on the significance of the festival. All gained new spirit and energy.

75th Independence Day Celebration
SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated the 75th Independence Day Ceremony on 15th August 2021 but without Students due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Flag-hoisting Ceremony
was attended by the Incharges, Teachers and other staff members of the Institution in line with all safety measures and Covid-19 protocol.

72nd Republic Day Celebration
'Freedom in the mind, Strength in the words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Zeal in our hearts, Let’s salute our India on the 72nd Republic Day!'
SMCP Sankar Vidya Bhavan witnessed the celebration of the 72nd Republic Day on the 26th January, 2021.
It is on this day, the Indian Constitution was adopted in 1950 after attaining the Independence from British rule for over 200 years on August 15, 1947.
To mark this Red Letter Day, all the teachers and the school staff filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication, attended the Flag-hoisting Ceremony in adherence to all Covid-19 safety protocols.
The Honorable Administrator Mrs. Nikki H Mehta unfurled the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem and the inspiring Jhanda Geet.
On this auspicious day, let us all remember those freedom fighters and legends that sacrificed their lives for our well-being.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Virtual Ganesh Chaturthi on 22th August with the sole purpose to let the students stay rooted with the Indian culture and to enable them to understand the significance of this festival. The celebration started with Aarti and devotional prayers. The Principal greeted all students 'Happy Ganesh Chaturthi' and wished for their good health and wellbeing. The teachers and students expressed their devotion to Lord Ganesha with their slogans 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'. The short celebration energized everyone's body, mind and spirit.

Deepawali Celebration
SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan organized Online Deepawali Celebration on 7th November' 2020. The celebration began with the chanting of Laxmi Vandana. The Teachers explained the importance of Deepawali - the festival of 'rows of lights' which spiritually signifies the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. They also insisted that the students should celebrate pollution free Deepawali by lighting the lamps and sharing with less fortunate. The teachers and the students coloured and decorated earthen diyas, made beautiful toran, auspicious swastikas etc. Competitions on preparing Lantern, Rangoli, Poster on Green Diwali, etc. were also organized as a part of the celebration. The ambience was lit by the cheerful faces of the students.

Virtual Christmas Celebration
The essence of Christmas came alive on 23rd December when the Students and Teachers of SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan got together and shared the merriment of Christmas in their Red Christmas Caps and beautiful attires. The ambience was adorned with bright Christmas decorations like Christmas Trees, Stars, Candles, Balloons, etc. Soaked in the spirit of Christmas, the children listened to the significance of Christmas from their teachers. The delightful celebration included Quiz on Christmas in which the children participated enthusiastically. The surrounding reverberated with the melody of Christmas Carols sung by the students and teachers. The teachers organized Games on Christmas for the students. The celebration concluded with the exchange of greetings of Merry Christmas and HAPPY New Year!

Independence Day Celebration
On India's 74th Independence Day, with the schools shut down due to the pandemic, the patriotism found a digital expression! SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated Independence Day virtually. The flag hoisting was done by the Principal Mrs. Sharmila Das in the presence of very limited staff members which was followed by the National Anthem and the National Song. The recording of flag hoisting ceremony was shared among all the students so that the fervour of patriotism is kept alive in them.

71st Republic Day Celebration
'JUSTICE, LIBERTY, EQUALITY, FRATERNITY - DREAM FOR A NEW TOMORROW!'
Shrimati Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan celebrated the 71st Republic Day with lots of valour, solemnity and grandure on 26th January 2020. The Administrator Shrimati Nikki H. Mehta unfurled the Tricolour which was followed by the National Anthem and Jhanda Geet.
The students saluted the National Flag to uphold its honour and integrity during the House - wise March Pass. Students performed and exhibited coordination and synchronization during Mass Drill using tricolour Pom-pom, Hoops, Lazims, Dumbles, Mugdals etc. They also showcased various Yoga asanas as well as some techniques of Kata, Kamete and breaking of bricks through Marshal arts.
This was followed by the Award Ceremony where the staff associated with the organisation for Ten and Twenty years were acknowledged for their sincerity towards the institution.
The toppers of class X and XII were awarded for their brilliance in academics.
The Best Student trophy was handed over to the student with all round excellence and holistic performance.
Students with an attribute of regularity and punctuality were given Certificates of 100% attendance.
The State, National and International Sports and Co-scholastic achievers were also felicitated for their hard work and enthusiasm.
The celebration concluded with a formation displaying fellowship and togetherness.

Christmas celebration
Christmas was celebrated in the school on 23rd December, 2019 with great zeal and enthusiasm. A special assembly was also organized on the occasion.
Students ushered the Christmas spirit with soul stirring rendition of age old carols.
Shalini Mishra of Std IX spoke eloquently about the beautiful festival of Christmas and Lord Jesus Christ.
All in all, it was a fascinating and enjoyable Christmas Celebration.

Children's Day Celebration
Children’s Day was celebrated zealously on 14th November 2019. The teachers prepared a host of entertainment programs for the students. Every teacher brought her expertise and talent into the show. With emotional song by the Principal , soulful singing performance by the teachers, humorous skit and energy-packed dance performances, the teachers celebrated Childhood.
The students were overwhelmed and they cheered their teachers as they saw them on stage. They laughed boisterously at their jokes, they sang along during the songs and they applauded the dance performances.

Navratri Celebration
Navratri was celebrated with amazing zeal and enthusiasm . The celebration started with invoking the divine blessings, Teachers dressed up in symbolic colour costumes acquainted the students with traditional importance of each day of Navratri and the auspicious colour linked to that day.The fitting finale of the event came in the form of a scintillating display of garba by the teachers. The positivity and energy exuberating out of the cheerful faces of the students made the entire celebration extremely successful and fruitful.

Teachers through their meticulous efforts bring qualitative changes in the lives of students. To pay tribute to educators "Teachers Day " was celebrated on 5th September' 2019. Students composed and presented songs and delivered speech to express their emotions.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
73rd Independence Day is celebrated with great zeal every year in our school. The students and teachers assembled on the ground at 7:45 AM.It was followed by singing of the National Anthem and patriotic song. Everybody saluted the National Flag.Drills were performed with Dumbles, Lazims and Wands by the students. The occasion was closed with slogans of Vande Matram and Jai Hind. The Celebration came to end with distribution of snacks to children and teachers.

GANPATI CELEBRATION
Ganesh Chaturthi which marks the birth ceremony of Lord Ganesha the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was celebrated on 3rd September 2019. The ceremony started by invoking the divine blessing of Lord Ganesha. The school choir added vivacity to the celebration by singing Aarti. The students in union repeated the slogan Ganpati Bapa Morya. The ten days Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated concluded with the visarjan of idol of Lord Ganesh.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
Janamastami the festival which commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great zeal.The celebration started with the melodious session by school choir. The students then participated in Dahi Handi tradition and celebration culminated with lively Garba session.Janmashtami which marks the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm every year. All the teachers and students took part in the celebration. It was followed by Aarti of LORD KRISHNA by the Principal and the teachers.The MATKKI that was filled with flowers was broken by 10th standard children.All the children were very excited and enjoyed the celebration. The teachers and some students performed GARBA. The programme ended with singing of Hathii goda paalki Jai kaniyya lal ki...

RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION
Raksha Bandhan has a special significance in our Nation’s culture. Hence, it is one of the main festivals of our country. The celebration of the most pious relationship of a Brother and Sister has its roots in the history of India and it is the moral duty of a school to apprise the students with the beautiful thought behind this celebration. Taking a step in this direction the school had organized Raksha bandhan celebration with full enthusiasm.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION
The programme comprised of a yogic prayer in Sanskrit, followed by Pranayam, Surya Namaskar and Musical Yoga with its significance and the origin.
1300 students, teachers and parents demonstrated different Asanas like Paschimottasan, Gaumukhasan, Uttanpadasan, Navkasan and Parvatasan and their various benefits for children were enumerated.
The programme concluded with oath taking or ‘Sankalp’ by all the students. A rousing rendition of the National Anthem culminated the celebrations.

Diwali was celebrated in the school with great fervour and gaiety. The students were acquainted with the importance of the festival and were motivated to celebrate environmental friendly Diwali . The Principal lighted the traditional diyas. The Nukkad drama and dance was performed by students of Early Act Club with the beautiful message.

Shrimati Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan paid homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary .
The two days celebration of 2nd and 3rd October was inaugurated on the auspicious day of Gandhi Jayanti by the honourable Chief Guest Shri Naishad Makwana , DEO Bharuch .
The Guest of Honour Shri Mahendrabhai Bhatt, Eminent Gandhian and Managing Trustee of Sanskar Bharti Trust Shri Pushpaben Patel , Mrs. Nikki H Mehta Administrator, SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan and other dignified visitors attended the Celebration with patriotic zeal and fervour.
All the esteemed schools of Bharuch were invited for the ceremony and more than 1000 students from different schools of Bharuch were thrilled to be a part of the function.The Celebration included Khadi and Book Exhibitions, Prarthana Sabha, Tableaux, A/V Presentation and Picture Gallery .
Throughout the Exhibition, many students disguised as Mahatma Gandhi, acquainted the visitors with Gandhian principles and inspired them to emulate his ideals for the progress of the nation. The school premises reverberated with melodious Ram Dhun, visitors got the privilege to use Charkha and know about lesser known facts about Gandhiji during their visit.
By celebrating the greatness of the Mahatma, we pledge to adopt his way of life and principles of empathy, humbleness, honesty and sincerity.

GANPATI CELEBRATION
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.The ceremony started with worship of Lord Ganesha followed by Aarti sung by children and performed by teachers. The students greeted the slogans 'Ganpati Bapa Morya','Gali Gali mey under Ganpati chey sunder'.The visarjan of Lord Ganesha was done by the students of IX with great zeal and enthusiasm.The students of our School celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in a unique way. An Eco-friendly Ganesh was made by the students with the help of art and craft teachers.

Janmashtami celebration
Janamastami the festival which commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great zeal.The celebration started with the melodious session by school choir. The students then participated in Dahi Handi tradition and celebration culminated with lively Garba session.
Janmashtami which marks the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm every year. This year the programme was celebrated on Aug 24th in 2nd period.
All the teachers and students took part in the celebration. The programme began with the speech of Chynika Dobal of IXB. It was followed by Aarti of LORD KRISHNA by the Principal and the teachers.
The MATKKI that was filled with flowers was broken by 10th standard children.
All the children were very excited and enjoyed the celebration. The teachers and some students performed GARBA.
The programme ended with singing of Hathii goda paalki Jai kaniyya lal ki..
Taking a step in this direction Interact Club of the school had organized celebration with full enthusiasm.

Raksha Bandhan has a special significance in our Nation’s culture. Hence, it is one of the main festivals of our country. The celebration of the most pious relationship of a Brother and Sister has its roots in the history of India and it is the moral duty of a school to apprise the students with the beautiful thought behind this celebration. Taking a step in this direction Interact Club of the school had organized Raksha bandhan celebration with full enthusiasm.

Independence Day celebration
The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated in Smt. Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan with great enthusiasm and fervour. The function started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Mrs. Nikki H Mehta, the Administrator of SMCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan. It was followed by the National Anthem and Jhanda Geet.
The school campus wore a festive look. There was patriotism in the air. The students endeared one and all with rhythmic and synchronised drills using Flags, Lezims, Mugdul, Dumbel and Umbrellas as their props.
The Independence Day speech by the Students of Std VII and Motivational Audio Clip by the Administrator inspired students to give their selfless commitment to the nation and work for its development. The 100% Attendance Holders from STD III to STD X. were felicitated in the Function.

The student of class VIII of our school were the part of the third Interntional Yoga day which was celebrated on 21st june 2017 at GNFC garden.Yoga is a mental,physical and spiritual practice.Student got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body,Students and teachers performed different yoga postures like Bhujang asana,Trikonasana and Pranayam.This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION
Christmas was celebrated in the school campus with great zeal.Varuni Joshi of class IX gave a speech
about Christmas.Student of class IX also enacted a play on Christmas and four students came dressed up
like Santa Claus.Students also sang and enjoyed Christmas carols.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION CUM ANNUAL DAY
The 69th Republic Day cum Annual Day was celebrated with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour. The
celebration was graced by esteemed dignitaries and members of school management. The day began with the
hoisting of the Indian flag by the Honourable Chief Guest Shri Parag Sheth followed by the National
Anthem and Jhanda Geet. The entire school premises reverberated with the patriotic beat. Students marched
in contingents to the beat of drum and Tableaux on different district of Gujarat inculcated the feeling
of elation and pride among all spectators for being residents of such a vibrant state.
Yoga, Aerobics and Energetic Drills enthralled the audience. The performances that stole the show were
Cycle Feats, Fire Feats and Pole and Rope Malkhamb .
100 percent Attendance Holders, State and National Achievers and CBSE BOARD toppers were awarded .
The felicitation ceremony ended with the announcement of winner of highly coveted Best Student Award .
The Celebration concluded with the Formation spreading the message of Unity in Diversity.

SAFETY WEEK CELEBRATION
To make the students aware of traffic rules and safety measures that they should take care of while
moving on the road and other places “Safety Week” was celebrated in the School from 29th January 2018 to
10th February 2018.
It is believed that if something is repeated for more than 21times, it becomes a habit. So our students
pledge Oath on road safety everyday.The students took an oath to follow all safety norms in their life
and pledged not to compromise with their safety at any cost.Students were acquainted with the rules and
various safety related sign boards on the road by the teachers. On the whole, it was quite informative
and very fruitful week for the students.

Annual Sports Week Celebrations
Annual Sports Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school play ground from 22 November, 2017 to 24 November, 2017. The School’s playground witnessed the outflow of zeal, passion and excitement. The programme began with the lighting of Sports Flame by the Chief Guest Mrs Nikki H Mehta, The Administrator, Smt. Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan, the torch bearers of the Sports Flame were the young players of the school who had displayed outstanding performance at Regional and National Level Sports events. Mrs Falguni Naik Principal J .B. Mody Vidyalaya, Mrs. Jasmine Modi Incharge Radha Bal Vatika and Mrs. Sharmila Das, Principal Smt. Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan graced the occasion and motivated the students. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events which includef Yoga, Aerobics, Fancy races, Track and athletic events and Team Sports.. Players mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. On the concluding day the rolling coveted Sports Day Trophy was lifted by Smt. Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan which won 6 out of 8 matches in various Team sports against the opponent team of J.B.Mody Vidyalaya.

Children’s Day Celebrations
Children’s Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour in school. Teachers decorated the school premises with colourful decorations befitting the occasion.
The teachers prepared two hour long program and ensured that it had every kind of entertainment possible. Every teacher brought her expertise and talent into the show. Emotional and soulful singing performances, humorous skits and energy-packed folk dance made the Children’s Day all the more appealing and colourful.
The students were overwhelmed with the entire effort. They cheered their teachers on as they saw them on stage, they laughed boisterously at their jokes, they sang along during the songs and they applauded the dance performances.

Diwali was celebrated in the school with great fervour and gaiety. The students were acquainted with the importance of the festival and were motivated to celebrate environmental friendly Diwali . The Principal lighted the traditional diyas and students decorated the school premises with colourful Rangolis.

NAVRATRI CELEBRATION
Like every year Navratri festival was celebrated with great zeal. Varuni Joshi of Class -9 delivered a
speech on it. All the children and teachers were traditionally dressed for occasion. First I-IV children
performed garba then V-XII children. Garba songs were sung by children. The whole atmosphere became
colourful.

slogan Ganpati Bapa Morya. The ten days Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated concluded with the visarjan of idol of
Lord Ganesha by the students of IX with great zeal and enthusiasm.

She spoke about Zoroastrian, the Parsi religion and also on why & how they came from Persia to Gujarat and India

INDEPENDENCE DAY
Independence Day is celebrated with great zeal every year in our school. The students and teachers assembled on the ground at 7:45 AM.
Our administrator Mrs Nikki Mehta hoisted the national flag. It was followed by singing of the National Anthem and patriotic song. Everybody saluted the National Flag.
Drills were performed with Dumbles, Lazims and Wands by the students of J B MODI School. Value based drama was also performed by 6th std. of J. B MODI school.
The occasion was closed with slogans of Vande Matram and Jai Hind. The Celebration came to end with distribution of snacks to children and teachers.

Our Admnistrator Mrs. H Nikki Metha, Principal Mrs Sharmila Das , Mrs Falguni mam and Mrs. Jasmine mam were also present on the occasion.
STD I TO V was involved in different activities, like Mass DRILL, AEOROBICS, RING EXERCISE, PYRAMID FORMATION etc. The parents of I TO V were also invited. The show ended with distribution of snacks to all classes.
