OLYMPIAD

Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief in a child. Our school encourages students to embrace other traditions and culture just like the way they do with their own. We have celebrated important days with the students on virtual platform.

  • International Yoga Day:- Sports Teachers posted video of various asanas on international Yoga day and motivated the students the practice the same . Regular yogic asanas videos motivate the students to make Yoga a part of their regular routine .
  • Independence Day : The principal unfurled the Flag in the school premises and video of the Celebration was posted to all the students to ignite the feeling of patriotism among them.
  • Ganesh Chaturthi The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great vigour in school, the Principal and other teaching and non teaching staff sent their wishes to students on virtual platform.
  • Diwali Celabration The festival of light was celebrated on 7th November 2020 by Invoking Blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. The teachers and students coloured and decorated earthern diyas , made beautiful torans and swastikas on Virtual platforms. Competition on Preparing Lantern, Rangoli and Poster on Green Diwali were also organized as part of Diwali Celebration.
  • The essence of Christmas came alive on 23rd December 2020 when all the teachers and students came together to share Christmas Merriment by wearing Red Santa Cap and beautiful attires. The delightful celebration included Christmas Quiz, Carols and Games on Christmas.
  • Republic Day :The Administrator Nikki H Mehta unfurled the Flag in the school premises



OLYMPIAD

Kahan Ramani of Std VII displayed outstanding performance at National Science Olympiad organized by SOF. He secured 151 rank at International Level ant 7th at Zonal Level. He was awarded with Certificate of Excellence and Gift Voucher of Rs 1000/

CLASSICAL VOCAL MUSIC

We continue to encourage our students to strive for excellence and aim to reach their full potential based on their uniqueness and individual talents and abilities

  • Twenty students were awarded with Medals and Certificates for their exemplary performance at District, State, National and International Levels for Spelling Bee at Baroda on 13th July' 2019.
  • Kahan Ramani of Class VI secured 9th rank in state in Silverzone English Olympiad and 8th rank in state in Silver Zone Science Olympiad



PARENTS AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

School has left no stone unturned to update parents about their wards performance by regular interaction on Whatsapp Group and One to One Interaction in Zoom and Webex App.

WORKSHOPS/ SEMINARS/ INTERACTIVE SESSION

Teachers Empowerment Programs:

“Teachers are also learners.” Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially, in education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops & various training Programs.

  • Two days CBSE workshop INCLUSION AND INCLUSIVE STRATEGIES was held at Cygnus World School, Baroda on 12th and13th June 2019. Two teachers Sindhu Sunil and Renu Uppal attended the workshop. The focus of the workshop was the inclusion of children with special needs in the classroom with other children.
  • Two days CBSE workshop on Classroom Management was organized at Rajshri Polymer School, Ankleshwar on 12th and 13th June 2019.Two teachers Zalak Bhatt and Dina Dave attended the workshop.. The informative workshop provided a platform to teachers to adopt various effective techniques for classroom management.
  • CBSE Workshop for English Educators was held at Jay Ambe International School on 22nd June 2019. In which five English teachers participated. Effective teaching strategies in English were extensively discussed to make English Teaching and Learning a joyful experience.
  • CBSE Science workshop was conducted at Kharod Public School on 27th June 2019. Two Science Teachers Rani Saraf and Bhavika Bhavsar attended the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to incorporate joyful learning in classroom and provide encouraging environment and experiences to students.
  • BDMA Women's Conclave conducted a workshop on 'Nation Building: In a New Avatar' on 28th June 2019. Two teachers Jayshree Gohil and Rani Saraf attended the workshop. Eminent speakers in the workshop included illumanaries like Padma Bhushan Rajshree Birla, Ursula Thakkar, Revantha Sarabhai, Padmashree Rachel Thomas, Umang Hutheesing, Roopali Parswani, Vijaylakshmi Vijaykumar, Sonali Lele Desai, Neha Buch and Maheshbhai Savani.
  • The CBSE Social Science workshop on 'Joyful Learning' was conducted in our school on 6th July 2019. It was attended by 26 teachers from Jay Ambey International School, Kharod Public School, CKG High School, Swami Vivekananda Academy and Narayan Vidya Vihar. The workshop catered to the professional growth and development of Social Science teachers.
  • CBSE Hindi workshop was organized at Kharod Public School on 13th July 2019. The workshop aimed at creating joyful learning as it facilitates fast and long lasting learning. among students
  • CBSE Workshop for Maths Educators was organized at Swamy Vivekananda Academy, Ankleshwar on 20th July. Four teachers Jayshri Gohil, Payal Dave, Bhavana Shah and Shubhi Mishra attended the workshop. In this workshop, the Mathematics teachers developed ideas to motivate students by joyful activities.
  • CBSE Workshop on Life Skill was organized at P P Savani School on 20th July. Four teachers Supriya Pandey, Sarita Gupta, Bhoomika Patel and Anshukiran Shukla attended the workshop. The aim of the workshop was to inculcate new ideas related to teaching of life skills and incorporation of the same in the curriculum.
  • CBSE Workshop on Std X English was organised in Unnati School , Surat on 6th and 7th September 2019. Neha Shah and Supriya Pandey attended the workschop which acquainted them with the latest English Teaching Strategies, Question Paper Style and Marking Scheme designed by CBSE
Student Enrichment Programs

To ensure that our students are equipped to face any challenge, we have focused on few Student Enrichment programs

  • Six students attended RYLA workshop on 19th and 20th April 2019 to imbibe values of team spirit , leadership, effective communication etc.
  • Bharuch District Management Association Women's Conclave conducted a workshop on 'Nation Building: In a New Avatar' on 28th June 2019. 60 students from X, XI and XII attended the workshop. Eminent speakers from all over the country who are achievers and experts of diverse fields shared their journeys of life and experiences and inspired the young students.



INTERACT CLUB AND EARLYACT CLUB

The Interact Club and The Early Act Club are the sponsored units of the Rotary Club of Narmadanagari Club , they cover a broad spectrum of social services. Students of Std IX are chosen as the members of Interact Club and the students of Std VI are chosen as the members of Early Act Club. This year the Installation Ceremony of Interact Club and Early Act Club was held on 24th July 2019 .

The activities undertaken by Interact Club are-
  • Students plated Trees in School Premises under ‘Tree Plantation Drive' on 24th July 2019.
  • To ingrain the altruistic spirit in the soul of our students, the Interact Club of our school has organised Exhibition Cum Sale on 28th and 29th July 2019 for bringing bundles of happiness in lives of the underprivileged people. The Club generated fund by selling handmade Rakhis, Envelopes , Pooja thalis and Bouquets made by the students of Std VIII to Std X.
  • To raise awareness about sanitation among students of Kanyashala, a resourceful Seminar on Health and Hygiene was conducted by the members of Interact Club of the school on 8th August 2019.
  • The members of Interact Club celebrated the Rakshabandhan with Special Children at Kalrav on 13th August 2019.
  • 'Go green pencil' is ecofriendly plantable seed pencils, the pencil stub has seeds which once planted sprouts into saplings. The Club has distributed Go Green pencils to all the Special Children at Kalrav on 13th August 2019.
  • In an effort to equip the farmers with latest technologies in Organic Farming and make them aware of various agricultural reforms and development schemes of the Government, Interact Club conducted a resourceful Seminar on Agricultural Methodologies for elevation of Farmers on 19th August 2019 at Mangaleshwar village.
  • Students distributed Notebooks to the students of Prathmikshala Bharuch on 21st August 2019.
  • On 5th September 2019 students celebrated Teachers Day by initiating following community oriented Drives:
    • Interact Club started a program called ‘Each One Teach One’. In this project the students will do the noble work of rendering education to the people who belong to the weaker sections of the society.
    • Interact Club also started the permanent project, 'Mentor-Mentee' with the objective of developing life skills. The mentor is assigned to act as an advisor, counselor and guide to a junior. The mentor acts as a role model for the mentee. The advice given by the mentor helps the mentee to develop new skills and a larger network. For a mentor it serves as an excellent learning experience.
  • The Interact Club has sold 3000 Go Green Pencils to our students and generated the fund of ` 25,250 which was handed over to the President of Rotary Club of Bharuch, Narmadanagari, Rtn. S B Shah on 14th September 2019 in presence of the District Governor Rtn. Anish Shah.
  • The Interact Club celebrated 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through various awareness drives. :
    • Students formed Human Chain from Tulsidham to Jyotinagar to promote ‘Say No to Single use Plastic’.
    • Our students made the glass paintings at Entry and Exit Gates at the Railway station on the themes ‘Say No to Single Use Plastic’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’.
    • Students replaced and distributed paper bags at the Railway Station to motivate people to stop using polythene bags.
Permanent Project of Interact

The Reduce, Reuse and Recycle project is the permanent project of the Interact Club of our school. The Compost pit in the school is used to dispose waste mainly the dry leaves from the campus, the peels from the kitchen and other biodegradable waste to be converted into compost. The compost thus prepared is to be used as manure in the maintenance of the school gardens.

The activities undertaken by early Act Club are-
  • 'Tree Plantation Drive' at Outskirts of NH-8, Bharuch on 24th July 2019 as a step towards protecting the environment.
  • ]
  • To nurture in its members philanthropy and the spirit of caring for the less fortunate. Fund Raising Exhibition for Community Drives was organized by the Earlyact Club on 31st July 2019. Wide range of handicraft articles prepared by the students was put on sale in the Exhibition.
  • In an effort to spread awareness about Water Conservation, a Musical Campaign was organised by the members of Earlyact Club on 21st August 2019 at Prathmikshala in Maktampur, Bharuch. The students were made aware of the ways to save water through Song , Kawwali and Rap.

Interact Club and Early Act Club conduct meeting every month with The President of Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmadanagari whereby the President of Interact Club and Earl Act Club provide updates of what they had done that month and also discuss their course of action for the next month.

  • DISTRICT INTERSCHOOL KARATE TOURNAMENT - Nine students have bagged gold, nine silver and six bronze in DISTRICT INTERSCHOOL KARATE TOURNAMENT organized at our school, on 28th April 2019.
  • CRICKET TOURNAMENT - Pal Mistry and Moksh Mehta bagged I position in Cricket Tournament organized by AM Cricket Academy Maharashtra on 28th June 2019.
  • SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP - Sujal Shah bagged two gold and one silver at 55th Gujarat State Shooting Championhip held on 25th July 2019 at Ahmedabad.
  • Sujal Shah qualified 29th All India GV Mavalankar Shooting Championship held at Ahmedabad from 23rd September 2019 to 25th September2019.
  • Sujal Shah bagged III position in 22nd Open Sight Standard Rifle Championship.

LIBRARY

Our library is one of the hallmarks of the school. The library houses wide range of 21900 books which includes renowned works of fiction, classics, self help books and encyclopedias. It serves as storehouse of information related to prescribed books and beyond.




SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

The sole purpose to organize yearly Scholastic Book Fair is to promote reading habits among the students. In these book fair books on wide range of subjects, encyclopedias, novels, folklores were displayed for students of all age groups. This fair was received by our students with great enthusiasm. In this fair books worth Rs 81,120 were purchased by the students.




FUNCTIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

Celebrating events and festivals is an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief in a child. The Functions in the school are continuation of the school tradition which believes in recognizing the efforts of the assiduous students with their multifarious endeavours, aspirations and triumphs and the Celebrations in the school encourages students to embrace other traditions and culture with dignity.

THE FELICITATION CEREMONY

The Felicitation Ceremony was organized on 29th April 2019 to honour our student Master Dhanesh Haresh Khatwani who suffered from hyperactivity disorder. The teachers with their sincere efforts under the guidance of the management could give his impulsive behavior a proper direction .Dhanesh is popularly known as ‘The Calendar Boy’ because of his ability to tell the day corresponding to any date.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

The School celebrated International Yoga Day on June 20, 2019. The students and parents of classes I to XII participated in the event. Various yoga postures and asanas including pranayam and meditation were performed. The students were also enlightened on the benefits of yoga, yogic exercises, recharging the body with cosmic energy and promoting the self-healing process.

RAKSHABANDHAN

Rakshabandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond girls of our school tied the auspicious thread of Rakhi on the wrist of boys on 14th August 2019.

JANMASHTAMI

The pious festival of Janmashtami was celebrated on 23rd August 2019 with great religious fervour at the School by invoking the blessings of Lord Krishna.Teacher apprised the students with importance of the day and then traditional Matki Phod event was organised with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration concluded with melodious garba song sung by school choir and garba performance by the teachers.

GANESH CHATURTHI

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on 3rd September 2019. The ceremony started by invoking the divine blessing of Lord Ganesha. The school choir added vivacity to the celebration by singing Aarti.

OLYMPIADS

The school conducts NSO Olympiads in every academic session. This year too it has followed the same trend. 64 students have participated in IGKO, 131 students in NSO, 276 students have participated in IMO and 117 in IEO in this academic session.




VISITS AND PICNICS

Going beyond the classroom walls and textbooks…comprehending the wonders that are beyond the syllabus and to gain first-hand knowledge with experience and augment academic learning is an integral part in our school. School organizes trips, excursion and visits regularly. This year trip to Jaiselemr and Jodhpur is organized from 17th December 2019 to 23rd December 2019 in which 61 students from Std V to X have enrolled.

The learning patterns are planned keeping in mind the innate talent and aptitude of students where our endeavour is consistent improvement in their competence, confidence and commitment.

Inculcating values of compassion, generosity and of giving back to society is of paramount importance to us. We encourage our students to take responsibility and become the catalysts of change. Our children have displayed excellent board results year after year and have carved a niche for themselves in various co-curricular activities beyond school frontier.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The commitment of the school to excellence in academics is reflected in the outstanding performance of its students in the Board exams conducted by the CBSE.

Our school has obtained historic success in their STD X CBSE Board Exam by having 15 students scoring Perfect 10 CGPA. The total number of students who appeared for the AISSCE 2016 was 95 out of which 85 passed with distinctions and 10 secured First Division.

We nurture and chisel the best in students so that they stand tall in all respects when they leave their alma mater. Every year our students show academic brilliance through their performance in the class XII Board Exam conducted by CBSE.

This year our school has given Bharuch District its SECOND TOPPER- AKANKSHA JALANDHARA who scored 93.8% in AISSCE-2016. 19 students appeared in THE board examination out of which 9 scored distinction, 4 secured I division and 4 scored II division.

INTERACT CLUB

The Interact Club is a sponsored unit of the Rotary Club of Narmadanagari Club , it covers a very broad spectrum of social services. Every year students of Std IX are chosen as the members of Interact club. This year the Installation Ceremony was held on 18th July, 2016.

The activities undertaken by this Club so far are-

  • • Guru Purnima celebration to acquaint students with pious teacher and students relationship.
  • • Exhibition cum sale to inculcate emotional skill along with social skill in students. Money earned in the exhibition would be used for social cause by the members of Interact Club.
  • • Reduce,Recycle, Reuse to ensure healthy environment. Compost pit was dug and kitchen waste and garden waste from school was dumped there by the students. Students were also asked to discard their tiffin waste along with paper and pencil waste in the pit. The compost thus made will be used in maintaining school‘s garden.
  • • Rakshabandhan celebration to apprise the students with the beautiful thought behind the celebration of festival of rakhi


Interact Club conducts meeting every month with The President of Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmadanagari where by the President of Interact Club provide updates of what they had done that month and also discuss their course of action for the next month.

The portfolio holders of Interact Club are invited in the meeting organized by the Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmadanagari and the winners of Interactive Club activities are awarded there.

The under 19 Chess team participated in CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL CHESS TOURNAMENT in which 28 schools from Cluster XIII sent best brains to compete in tournament.The players pitted their wit and sheer weal of brain prowess against one another.Through their wise moves and acumen the School Team secured VI rank in the cluster.




CBSE NATIONAL LEVEL KHO KHO TOURNAMENT

The Girls and Boys Kho Kho team added one more feather to our cap by emerging winners in CBSE Regional Level Kho Kho tournament.The team members showcased agility and coordination and secured their place in CBSE NATIONAL LEVEL KHO KHO TOURNAMENT to be played in Orissa in December.




Olympiads

The school conducts NSO Olympiads in every academic session. This year too it has followed the same trend. 46 students have participated in NCO and 176 in NSO this year.352 students have participated in IMO and 145 will participate in IEO in this academic session.




Rashtra Bhasha Examination

It has always been our sincere effort to create respect for India’s official languages and for the same purpose we conduct Rastra Bhasha examination every year. This year 23 students actively participated in this examination.




Field trip

Field trips are integral part of the curriculum of our school. They are organized to broaden the horizons of the students. This year students from Std VIII and IX were taken to agricultural farm to aquaint them with the importance of agricultural sector in our life. It was enriching experience for all the students who were the part of this trip.




ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION

Our school celebrated its Annual Day ‘ Celebration’ which marked its two decade of glorious existence amidst great zest, vibrance and elation. Shri Upendra Rungta , an eminent industrialist was the esteemed Chief Guests. The theme was described through dazzling dance and song performances, Drama, Classical and Regional dance forms by the multifaceted teachers of our school . Stunning Live painting of the Chief Guest during the function stole the show. Young achievers were awarded in the Annual Day.In our function AISSCE AND AISSE toppers were felicitated ,. The Annual Day function came to close amidst thunderous applause by esteemed dignitaries and proud parents.

Yet another academic year of success and achievement unfolded with an honour conferred on AISSE and AISSCE students with 100% pass percentage in the CBSE Board Examination. Our students have performed commendably in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2015 conducted by the CBSE. The total number of students who appeared for the AISSCE 2015 was 29 out of which 21 passed with distinctions, 6 secured I Division and 2 Second Division.

Our students have fared exceedingly well in the AISSE 2015 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Out of the total 71 students who appeared, 5 students scored 10 CGPA and 64 passed with I division and 2 with second division.

INTERACT CLUB

The Interact Club is a sponsored unit of the Rotary Club of Narmadanagari which provides supervision and support in the realization of the club's objectives. Interact Club is a students' body which works for various social issues for the benefit of society. The club nurtures the altruistic spirit of its students and encourages them to help those in need. Hence, from cleanliness in school to charity, Interact Club covers a very broad spectrum of social issues.

The activities undertaken by this Club so far are-

  • • Each one teach one campaign to increase literacy rate of the district.
  • • Go Green to aquaint students about all the trees they can see in the school premises.
  • • Tree plantation to ensure healthy environment.

Interact Club conducts meeting every month with The President of Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmadanagari where by the President of Interact Club provide updates of what they had done that month and also discuss their course of action for the next month. The portfolio holders of Interact Club are invited in the meeting organized by the Rotary Club of Bharuch Narmadanagari and the winners of Interactive Club activities are awarded there.




LIBRARY

Our library is one of the hallmarks of the school. The library houses wide arrays of 16,767 books which includes renowned works of fiction, Classics, Self help books and Encyclopedias. It serves as storehouse of information related to prescribed books and beyond .

Educational trips

This year students from Std V to Std X were taken to historical city of Hyderabad. It was indeed a fun bonding as well as enriching experience for all 113 students who were the part of this trip.

Students from Std I to Std IV went to Wonderland in Ahmedabad Our students enjoyed every part of their trip while significant learning took place simultaneously.




ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION

Smt Maniba Chunilal Patel celebrated, its Annual Day on 19th December,2015 and 20th December,2015 amidst great zest, vibrance and elation. Dr. Suketu Dave and Dr. Usha Chellappan were the esteemed Chief Guests. The programme based on the theme ‘Advertisement Arcade’ commenced with a scintillating drama which highlighted the impact of advertisement in day to day life. The theme was described through dazzling dance performances like UV dance, Robotic Dance, Salsa, Classical dance and regional dance forms. Stunning Shadow Dance highlighting the importance of literacy and mesmerizing Mime based on the theme Swachch Bharat stole the show.. The Annual Day function came to close amidst thunderous applause by esteemed dignitaries and proud parents.

  • • 88 students appeared in AISSE Board Examination,73 students passed with distinction.

Result Highlights :
  • • Parth Singh became the Second District Topper by scoring 94.8% in AISSCE-2018. Parth was awarded the Merit Cerificate by CBSE for being among 0.1 % top scorers in Physics at All India Level.
  • • 30 students appeared in the board examination out of which 26 scored distinction, 4 secured I division and scored II division.

WORKSHOPS/ SEMINARS/ INTERACTIVE SESSION

We constantly endeavour to enrich and equip our students and teachers with necessary skills, and add new dimensions to their personalities. Workshops & activities are conducted regularly as a means of inventing, experimenting and growing.

Following workshops were arranged in this academic session :
  • For Students :
    • • Seminar on Health and Hygiene was held on 18th April 2018 by Abbott officials for Std VI to VIII. The objective of the seminar was to promote good hygiene habits among students.
    • • Seminar on Memory Power Magic was conducted for students of Std V- XII and their parents on 21st April 2018 by the expert trainer Sanjay Presswala .This workshop focused on effective use of mnemonic techniques for rapid memorisation and recall.
  • For Teachers :
    • A Workshop on ‘Life skill’ was conducted by CBSE under their ‘CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME at Smt. MCP Sanskar Vidya Bhavan on 25 June 2018. Total 71 teachers (including teachers from host school) from all over Gujarat attended the workshop. The resource persons Ms. Rekha Shah and Dr. Anubha Negi, master trainer at CBSE, assisted the teachers to create awareness on various concepts of Life Skills.
    • • Three teachers attended the CBSE Workshop on Classroom Management on 24th and 25th July 2018.
    • • Two teachers attended the CBSE Workshop on Career Guidance at DPS Harni on 28th and 29th September 2018. The objective of workshop was to make the teachers understand different career options available for students and communicate the same to them.
    • • Five Teachers attended a Workshop on A journey from Good to Great on 8th October 2018. The workshop motivated the teachers to emphasize on emotional quotient of a child for his/her holistic development.



INTERACT CLUB AND EARLYACT CLUB

The Interact Club and The Early Act Club are the sponsored units of the Rotary Club of Narmadanagari Club , they cover a broad spectrum of social services. Students of Std IX are chosen as the members of Interact Club and the students of Std VI are chosen as the members of Early Act Club. This year the Installation Ceremony of Interact Club was held on 20th July 2018 and Installation Ceremony of Early Act Club was held on 25th July 2018.

The activities undertaken by Early Act Club are -
  • • Opportunities for enrichment give children a sense of accomplishment and self esteem, with this objective Early act Club of the school initiated Tree Plantation Drive in the school premises.
  • • Unlike students who study at private schools, those who come to study at government schools do not experience the joy of celebrating festivals with their fellowmates. With the aim to bring happiness and smiles on the faces of the girls of Prathmik Kanyashala, the Earlyact Club celebrated Raksha Bandhan by distributing food in Kanyashala on 24th August 2018.
  • • Water is not a limitless resource, without conservation efforts, this vital supply of water may be exhausted. With the objective to create consciousness about conservation of Water Resources the Early Act Club conducted a Seminar on Potable Water Management for the students on 21 AUG 2018.
  • • Exhibition cum sale was organized by the Early Act Club to develop emotional and social skill in students. Money earned in the exhibition will be used to organize free Eye Check up Camp on 20th January 2018.
The activities undertaken by Early Act Club are -
  • • Interact Club celebrated Janamastami festival which commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna .The celebration started with the melodious session by school choir. The students then participated in Dahi Handi tradition and celebration culminated with lively Garba session.
  • • The rapidly expanding world population twinned with the effects of climate change have put pressure on the world’s water resources which has resulted in water crisis across the country and the world at large. To bring awareness among the youth, the Interact Club had conducted a Seminar on Rainwater Harvesting on 21st August 2018.
  • • The importance of cleanliness in our lives cannot be denied. Maintaining a clean surrounding is essential for our good health as dirt and disease go together. With this motto, the Interact Club accomplished the Cleanliness Drive in the school premises on 1st Sept 2018

  • • Kala Mahakumbh : Three students reached the State Level in Kala Mahakumbh. Kanha Buch bagged the I position in Vocal Music category.
  • • Karate : Two students participated at State Level Karate Tournament. Bhavya Soni bageed gold in Kata and silver in Kumete.
  • • Kho- Kho : In Kho Kho the girls team reached the State Level of Khel Mahakumbh by bagging the first position at District Level. The team went to Limadi to play the State Level Tournament.
  • • Athletics : Manvendrasinh Raj and Arijit Paul were selected for State Level participation after being adjudged the best athletes at the District Level. They participated at State Level Atheletic Meet in Dahod.
  • • Shooting : Sujal Shah was adjudged the best shooter at district level and qualified for the State Level participation.
  • • Badminton : Krish Mumbaiwala reached the Khel Mahakumbh State level in badminton after being at the top in the district.
  • • Swimming : Atharwa Mistry secured I position in District Level Khel Mahakumbh Swimming, he qualified for State Level participation.
  • • Gymnastics : 9 students displayed their gymnastic feet in Gymnastics in State Level Khel Mahakumbh.
  • • Chess : 9 students qualified for State Level Chess participation in Khel Mahakumbh in various age categories.
  • • Football : Vedant Singh Solanki was chosen for Bharuch Football Team by Sports authority of Gujarat for State Level participation.
  • • Skating : Vishv Shah and Jainil Bhavsar reached the State Level in Skating in Khel Mahakumbh after their outstanding performance at State Level.

Regional Level Participation :

  • • Kho Kho : Our Boys and the Girl’s team stood I at the IX Cluster Level CBSE Kho Kho Tournament played at Vadodara.
  • • Chess : Our Boys and the Girl’s team participated IX Cluster Level CBSE Chess Tournament played at Gwalior.
  • • Athletics : Our Boys and the Girl’s team participated IX Cluster Level CBSE Atheletic Tournament played at Vadodara.

National Level Participation :

  • • Kho Kho : Our Boy’s and Girl’s Team stood I at the IX Cluster Level CBSE Kho Kho Tournament. Both of our teams had participated at CBSE National level Kho Kho Meet at Jind in Haryana..

International Level Participation :

  • • Spell Bee : 6 students have participated in International Spell Bee Competition after excelling at State and National Level. Three students secured I division score at international level.



OLYMPIADS

  • • The school conducts NSO Olympiads in every academic session. This year too it has followed the same trend. 41 students have participated in NCO, 226 students in NSO, 388 students have participated in IMO and 178 in IEO in this academic session.
  • • Silverzone Olympiad was introduced in school in last academic session. This year 41 students participated in Science Olympiad, 82 students have participated in Maths Olympiad, 22 in English Olympiad and 36 in GK Olympiad.



EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

Educational trips are vital component of the curriculum of our school. They are organized to broaden the horizons of the students. This year students from Std V to Std VII were taken to Ahmedabad where they visited Fossil Park, Heritage Car Musem, Sabarmati River Front and Kankaria Lake.195 students went on this trip and all of them enjoyed every part of their trip while significant learning took place simultaneously.

Students from Std VIII to X were taken to Fossil Park and Swapna Shrusti Water Park in Ahmedabad. It was indeed a fun bonding as well as enriching experience for all 191 students who were the part of this trip.




ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION

The programme was based on the theme ‘Fun and Frolic’ commenced with a scintillating drama which highlighted the family life full of fun and frolic. The theme was described through dazzling dance performances. In our function AISSCE AND AISSE toppers were felicitated , The coveted Best Student Award was given , 85 students were awarded for 100% attendance, 4 students were awarded for showing Excellence at state level , The Annual Day function came to close amidst thunderous applause by esteemed dignitaries and proud parents.

ANNUAL SPORTS WEEK

Annual Sports Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school play ground from 26 December, 2018 to 31 December, 2018. The School’s playground witnessed the outflow of zeal, passion and excitement. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events which included Fancy races, Track and field events and Team Sports.Players mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.Sports achievers were felicitated for their exemplary performance.

On the concluding day the rolling coveted Champions Trophy was lifted by Smt. Maniba Chunilal Patel Sanskar Vidya Bhavan for third consecutive year. The school won 5 out of 7 matches in various Team sports against the opponent team of J.B.Mody Vidyalaya.
